I Am Hashimotos Unmasked, "Now You See Me"

Author: TyLeishia L. Douglass

This  is my experience with Hashimoto's Disease. I am choosing to unmask  and  now you see me. "The life of a champion is those that come through  the  gripping fires that scorch them not." ~ TyLeishia L. Douglass

Shirley from Holland

The disease Hashimoto I had never heard of it before my auntie told me she has the diagnoses of the Hashimoto disease which is a thyroid disease. We talked about it and here in Holland is it not a common thyroid disease.  A few months later I came in contact with Tyleishia Douglass, and I discovered that Tyleishia wrote this book: "Now You See Me" " I' am Hashimoto's Unmasked " It turns out that Thyleishia is an ambassador to raising awareness about this disease. I thought this is just amazing.  After reading this book, you learn more about Hashimoto and how this disease can influence your life, family, and friends. From the beginning till the end you see how she learns herself to accept this life with Hashimoto. The struggles after hearing her diagnosis, to the triumph of not letting her get down by this disease, which is not easy to overcome every time when your body shows the symptoms. She takes you on her journey living with Hashimoto and tells it from her soul, you can feel her struggle and with the humor, she makes it a very easy read. This book inspires you about how hard it gets in life, you'll have to try to make the most of it with

or without a disease. Most important you learn much more about HASHIMOTO!

Do not judge, you never know how somebody is suffering!

I say A MUST READ!!

Affirmations: by TyLeishia L. Douglass

What  does it take to brew your recipe to affirm what you believe in?   When  the pollen is high and the nectar is sweet, sunscreen may not be  enough  to keep you repelled.  There are some buzzers that just won’t  quit but  the question is when they swarm, will you run or take a stand?

My scars are my tattoos

What if you had an idea of the kind of person you were and learned  whether he or she is really you?  Can a scar define who you are and your  future?  Dreams can be as tantalizing, scary, peaceful or a nightmare.   What will “He” find when waking from the scars of his past?  Opposites  really do attract in the oddest ways.

My  Scars are My Tattoos, written by TyLeishia Douglass provides an  interesting yet beautiful perspective of seeing the positives in  everything. Where some would see scars as ugly and something to be  ashamed of, Author Douglass through this flash fiction short story,  shares with the reader that these scars and battle wounds are really a  thing of beauty and should be celebrated and not diminished. Kudos to  Author Douglass for providing this fascinating and well thought out  approach in this story. I truly look forward to more work from this  brilliant new author.

Nicely  written, very well thought out. A little short for my liking with a  short story. Looking forward to reading the authors novels. It was a  good read

Spa me out

La’Viese is a successful woman working at a law firm with her two  partners Tassleman and Freeman.  She works hard trying desperately to  ease the tension of the day by hiring a masseuse Armando.  Working a 9  to five is not the only way to reap good benefits, in this two-part  romance short story.

A little hot and steamy, but I love how it leaves you to figure out if he will return as her masseuse or her lover

My words are going on a diet

In this hard habit eating short if you can’t say something nice, it’s  better to say nothing at all. Words can be fruitful and multiply the  good, bad and the ugly. Putting on the weight of your mind do not only  come in pounds of foods, it can come on words as well.

My  Words are Going On A Diet! Just from the title alone I knew I had to  read this one. Author TyLeishia Douglass brings it again with this one  and challenges the reader to consider whether or not their words should  go on a diet as well. Words are powerful and the use of them can either  add to or take away from the person who speaks them and the person who  hears them. This is a challenge to every reader to consider whether the  words they speak bring life or deter from the journey. I appreciate this  work and highly recommend it to everyone!

They said she was golden

The Universe drops us a great gift of love, trust, understanding, faith,  and healing.  It has no name, no face so what do you call it?  Is it a  person, thing, he/she or it?  What would you do if you encountered this  entity they say is golden?  Can you forget what it has done?  Can you  forget how it looks? Or perhaps you long to catch it again.
